10. CULTURE VULTURE
If a meringue-style wedding dress doesn’t really float your boat, and your other half despises stuffy suits, ditch the typical garb and do something different. Why not wear the traditional costume of the country you’re visiting, or wear a sundress with a floral crown or lei and go barefoot for a ceremony on the sand.
This advice applies double to the local culture and customs. By incorporating them into your ceremony or reception you can add a unique and quirky twist, such as a coconut blessing and benediction in the Pacific Islands.
