There’s something truly special about celebrating your wedding with just a small handful of your very nearest and dearest. Just ask Lone and Carsten – they kept their celebration intimate and family focused, marrying at Bali’s elegant Amarterra Villas Bali Nusa Dua with just their three beautiful children in attendance. Choosing a venue for their wedding was easy for the couple. “We loved Amarterra’s luxurious feel, great service and beautiful location,” explains Carsten, adding that pulling off the destination event was a cinch. “The whole day was stress-free – our wedding planner took care of everything!”
Making the most of the resort’s spectacular grounds and the balmy tropical climate, the two met in the venue’s stunning garden for an afternoon ceremony full of good vibes. “The laughs started on the golf-buggy trip to the ceremony and, thanks to a very funny priest, didn’t stop throughout the proceedings!” Later, the newlyweds sat down with their guests by the venue’s stunning pool for a sensational dinner. “We had a wonderful tapas menu,” recalls Carsten. “Our favourite dishes were the prawn tempura, crumbed lamb loin and the Jivara chocolate fondant.” Fitting in time for photos in the venue’s lush gardens and on the beach, the couple enjoyed the best that Nusa Dua had to offer. “The whole experience was so relaxing and beautiful,” says Carsten. “We wish we could have stayed forever.”
