Singing with laughter and full of joyous colour, Hope and Jake’s vibrant wedding took place in a destination dear to their hearts. “We visited Thailand’s Koh Samui on holiday and fell in love with the island as soon as we arrived,” remembers Hope. “It’s where we got engaged, so the destination is very sentimental to us.” Inviting 75 of their nearest and dearest to their ‘happy place’, the two planned a beautiful celebration in paradise. Choosing Koh Samui’s elegant Silavadee Pool Spa Resort, Hope and Jake said “I do” in a touching beach ceremony, under perfectly sunny skies.
“Seeing my husband’s face become so full of emotion when we were standing at the altar was just so precious to me,” says Hope. “It was amazing to also take in the picturesque views – the location blew everyone away!” After exchanging vows, the couple enjoyed a toes-in-the-sand photo session before joining guests for a reception by the water. “Everything was perfect,” says Hope. “We received so many compliments on the food. Everyone said they’d never been to another wedding like ours.” To cap off their magnificent day, Hope and Jake cut into their indulgent three-tier wedding cake and spoiled friends and family with a glittering fire display. But the real highlight for this couple was the quality time they spent with their loved ones in Koh Samui. “Having everyone together on an amazing holiday was something we’ll treasure forever,” explains Hope. “It’s incomparable to anything we’ve ever experienced.”
