W is for weddings — a good omen for Tammy and Glen when hatching their romantic escape plan to Bali. With hearts set on an intimate beach elopement, the couple landed on the uber-stylish W Bali hotel in the vibrant west-coast neighbourhood of Seminyak.
“It’s a beautiful destination with beach access,” says Tammy of the five-star escape known for its modern tropical vibe and front-row position to the waves. “Planning was an absolute breeze and Cleary from the hotel made the process so easy.”
The couple prepared together in their plush hotel suite, with Tammy still managing to surprise her groom-to-be with a ‘first look’ when she appeared in her gorgeous gown. Blessed by sea breezes and sunshine, their barefoot beach ceremony was joyfully intimate, overflowing with laughter and happy tears.
A relaxed photo shoot was the perfect segue, the hotel’s stunning grounds delivering endless backdrops. The cherry on top? A private three-course dinner in a secluded setting where the newlyweds could unwind, soak up the ambience, and toast the moment. 
Tammy and Glen have zero regrets about skipping tradition for a just-us experience and happily recommend a holiday wedding to anyone. With one important piece of advice. “Engage a wedding planner and have trust in your team,” says Tammy, who credits the staff at W Bali with creating such a seamless experience.
Still floating on air, the couple can enjoy the memories (while contemplating a return trip to Bali!). “What we loved most about our destination wedding was how easy and stress-free it was,” notes Tammy. “Nothing was a problem — but everything was stunning.”
