Their love is entwined with the spirit of Aloha, having also celebrated their engagement at this luxe beachfront escape in 2018.
The newlyweds name their private sunset dinner, hosted on the oceanfront overlooking the mountains, as a romantic highlight. “Once the sun set, we could hear the ocean as we reflected back on an incredible day,” says Helena. “The best part? Our Sundeck room was only a few steps away, so we just walked over with the remainder of our Champagne and enjoyed some extra slices of our wedding cake on our lounge chairs. A moment we didn’t capture on camera but will live in my heart forever.”
And the cherry on top? Staying on at the resort! “It was a seamless transition into the honeymoon phase to enjoy married bliss,” says Helena. “We’ve seen a lot of people wait to have their honeymoons, whether due to stress, budget, timing, but it was easily one of my favourite parts about a destination wedding.”
