The Samaya Seminyak offers an intimate beachfront setting right in the heart of Seminyak, combining privacy, luxury, and personalised service. Spacious private villas, exceptional dining, and breathtaking sunset views create an atmosphere that feels both relaxed and refined. Couples can celebrate with the ocean as their backdrop while enjoying the convenience of having everything thoughtfully arranged in one place.

What are the main reasons couples choose The Samaya Seminyak for their destination wedding?

The beachfront location, the personalised service, and the intimacy of the setting. For couples who want a wedding that feels like theirs rather than a production, The Samaya’s scale and approach make it a natural fit.

Where’s your favourite spot at the resort for a stunning wedding photo?

What’s the best room for the wedding night and why?

The Planner’s Insights

What’s the biggest misconception couples have about planning a destination wedding in Bali?

wedding ceremony by the beach at The Samaya Seminyak

That it will be stressful. With the right team in place, the process is smooth and genuinely enjoyable – which is rather the point of choosing a destination wedding in the first place.

What’s the strangest wedding request you’ve ever had – and did you deliver?

One of the strangest wedding requests I’ve ever had was from a couple who wanted to make their entrance together while their traditional music players performed live during the procession. It was certainly unique and required careful coordination for timing, sound, and guest flow, but we delivered it successfully, and it became one of the most memorable parts of the wedding.

What do wedding couples almost always forget?

Comfortable footwear for the beach. It sounds obvious until you’re standing in the sand at the end of a long and beautiful evening.

What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning their destination wedding?

Trust your planner and enjoy the process. The couples who are most present on the day are the ones who let go of the logistics well before it arrives.

What’s the most memorable thing a couple has ever said to you after their wedding day?

“This was even more beautiful than we ever imagined – you truly helped us and made our dream come true.”

For Sri, hearing those words reflects exactly what her team aims to create: a seamless and meaningful experience where couples can simply be present and enjoy every moment.

About Sri

wedding-planner-with-bride-to-be-the-samaya-seminyak

Sri came to this work through a passion for creating celebrations that carry real meaning – and several years into her role at The Samaya, that passion is evident in how she approaches every couple’s brief. For her, the work is personal; the details matter because the day matters.

If your best friend called you tomorrow and said she was thinking about a destination wedding, what’s the one piece of advice you’d give her that she won’t find on any website?

Build in a spa day – either before the wedding to settle the nerves, or after to decompress and absorb everything that’s just happened. Bali does this better than almost anywhere; it would be a shame to leave without making the most of it.

Sri’s Insider Tip for Bali

Plan a relaxed sunset dinner at one of the quieter beaches just outside the busy main areas of Seminyak. While the popular spots can become lively, there are hidden stretches of coastline nearby where couples and guests can enjoy the same beautiful Bali sunset in a far more peaceful and intimate setting.
