An elopement in an idyllic location was just right for these sweethearts.
A secluded beach, gorgeous blooms and a whole lot of love – it was this winning combination that made Leanne and Greg’s Thailand wedding truly amazing. Getting away to Koh Samui’s breathtaking Garrya Tongsai Bay, the pair swapped a big guest list for an intimate atmosphere and said “I do” in a romantic elopement. The result? An unforgettable celebration that was beautifully true to them.
Leanne and Greg’s dream wedding had to tick a few boxes: “We knew we wanted a beach wedding in a tranquil part of Thailand,” explains Leanne. Searching online for the perfect venue, the couple knew they’d struck gold when they discovered Garrya Tongsai Bay hotel. “I fell in love! It was truly a little piece of paradise.”
The venue went all-out to bring the couple’s ideal celebration to life. Adorned with an extravagant floral arbour, Garrya Tongsai Bay’s pristine and private beach provided a remarkable ceremony setting. “We’ll never forget how special it felt to recite our wedding vows on such a gorgeous, secluded beach,” says Leanne. “It was a picture-perfect moment and everything we had dreamed it would be.” Kicking off their shoes, the newlyweds hit the water for a playful photo-session and popped a few Champagne corks. “We had so much fun,” laughs Leanne. A romantic lantern-lit dinner on the beach was the perfect end to a memorable day. “We were spoilt with a live saxophone performance and the most delicious lobster dinner!” Lapping up the good vibes, the two stayed on at Garrya Tongsai Bay for their honeymoon. “The whole experience was so dreamy and romantic,” says Leanne. “It all felt like a romantic fairytale.”
