A garden wedding at a sumptuous Bali resort was just what this couple dreamed of…
If you ask us, it’s hard to beat a lush, green garden filled with blossoming frangipani trees for a beautiful ceremony setting. Charmed by the same idyll, Amanda and Wade escaped to the opulent Bali Mandira Resort & Spa with friends and family for one enchanting celebration. “We loved the great location and how it was easy for our guests to get to,” says Amanda.
With everyone making the journey ahead of the wedding, the couple lapped up some quality time with loved ones before the special day – something the bride really appreciated. “We felt as if we were on holiday even before the wedding had even begun,” says Amanda. “Everyone was so relaxed and we were able to chill out before the festivities.”
Waking up to perfect sunshine and feeling the ‘holiday-mode’ vibes, Amanda later joined Wade in a delightful outdoor ceremony. “Walking down the aisle with my dad towards Wade is something I’ll never forget,” says Amanda. “It was my most precious memory of the day.”
After walking up the petal-scattered aisle and being cheered by guests, the two had photos taken in the resort’s manicured gardens and enjoyed a fantastic reception. “We had our reception in the resort’s rooftop bar, overlooking the beach,” says Amanda. Toasting the sunset and feasting on delicious fare, the newlyweds also fit in plenty of time for hitting the dance floor. “The funniest moment of the day was doing the macarena in front of all our guests!” Well, itis a classic.
A day to cherish, Amanda and Wade’s wedding was all that they could have hoped for and more. “We’re so glad we chose to have a destination wedding,” says Amanda. “There was no stress at all, the food was great and there was a fantastic atmosphere!”
