7. Overwater Wedding Pavilion, Four Seasons Resort at Landaa Giraavaru, Maldives
Floating above a spectacular UNESCO Biosphere Reserve is the Overwater Wedding Pavilion at the Four Seasons Resort in the Maldives. The gorgeous pavilion is located off the northeast tip of the island, and is only accessible by boat. It’s a pillared, chapel-like structure with a lofted ceiling, bi-fold glass doors opening onto a deck, a polished concrete floor, and a glass aisle perched above the Indian Ocean – offering views of sea turtles, reef fish and other vibrant marine life just metres underfoot. The bright and airy venue can hold up to 18 people.
