Sigh-inducing scenery and touching moments made this couple’s wedding unforgettable…
Island weddings don’t come much more dreamy than Tracy and Jame’s extraordinary celebration. Meeting up with friends and family at Koh Samui’s Belmond Napasai, the two tied the knot with views of tranquil waters and green coconut groves in the background. “It was a private, unique and stunning destination for our overseas wedding,” says Tracy. We’d have to agree with Tracy there.
Saying “I do” on the shores of Belmond Napasai’s Insta-ready beach, the two then lapped up the last moments of sunshine (drink in-hand) in a breathtaking photo session. “We loved spending that time with our bridal party and taking in the moment before the party began,” says Tracy. Adorned with lanterns and glittering fairy lights, the resort’s palm-dotted Secret Garden created a beautifully laid-back setting for scrumptious fare and refreshing drinks. “We had a sensational buffet served on the beach under the stars. The seafood open grill was a hit; as was Belmond’s signature spicy mango daiquiri!” Wish. We. Were. There.
Making the day even more enchanting, a special tradition created sweet (and a few hilarious) memories. “All our guests paired up and released lanterns into the night sky after dinner,” says Tracy. “We were all in stitches, though, when one of the lanterns struggled to get airborne and nearly landed on a nearby speedboat!”
Bringing together loved ones in paradise, Tracy and James’s Koh Samui wedding was simply unforgettable. “Belmond Napasai was such a special place for our wedding” says Tracy. “All our guests are still talking about it till this day!”
