A glamorous wedding with a chic colour palette had these sweethearts celebrating in style. A chic resort in a dreamy destination set the stylish scene for this couple’s glamorous Thailand wedding. The freshly revamped five-star property The Nai Harn in Phuket gave Bianca and Shaun’s romantic nuptials a distinctly St Tropez vibe. With a deep connection to tropical Phuket, these two sweethearts didn’t have to think twice when it came to choosing their dream destination. “Shaun’s family has a holiday home in Phuket, so he’s been having beach holidays there since he was a teenager,” explains Bianca. While researching venues in the region, Bianca and Shaun couldn’t help but notice one beautiful waterfront option. “When we saw the newly renovated Nai Harn we just fell in love,” says Bianca. “It had a luxurious, boutique feel and great views. You can see the beach, the sea and all the small islands – such a majestic backdrop!”
With the venue chosen, the rest of the details fell into place. Gathering 50 loved ones for a glamorous ‘white party’ themed event, Bianca and Shaun tied the knot at a spectacular outdoor altar with enchanting sea views and masses of white blooms. “It was the most amazing atmosphere,” remembers Bianca. “It felt so special to say our vows in front of God and our beloved families and friends.” The formalities out of the way, the two captured the moment with a photoshoot before joining guests for an upbeat reception at the venue’s Cosmo Restaurant. Entering the decked-out space dancing to The Notorious B.I.G.’s Big Poppa, Bianca and Shaun set the tone for the rest of the night. “It was so much fun and it instantly lit up the whole room,” laughs Bianca. Before dancing the night away, the newlyweds spoiled guests with a delicious East-meets-West feast. “We had local Thai delights like crab-meat curry, pad ki maw and mango sticky rice,” says Bianca. “Everything tasted so much better than we could have imagined!” With the party vibes flowing the dance floor quickly filled up and the couple celebrated into the wee hours. A glittering fireworks display was the perfect finale to the chic event. “We all made memories that will last for a lifetime,” says Bianca. “It was so special to have the most important people in our lives all together in the one destination for a weekend.”
