Every wedding has its own memorable moment for me, but something wedding couples often forget to do is have their own wedding vow prepared for the ceremony, and thank you speech for before the dinner.
What’s the most glamorous/luxurious thing couples get to do at the InterContinental Bali Resort?
Wedding couples will have more than one glamorous and luxurious moment with the InterContinental Bali Resort. A couple will stay in a suite with a butler provided and enjoy the intimate honeymoon set up in the room that we provide either on arrival or after the wedding. Then they can indulge in a romantic spa treatment in our secluded and spacious spa villas which are dedicated to couples.
What’s your best piece of advice for a couple planning their destination wedding?
Our best tip for couples planning a destination wedding is to decide the perfect time to have their wedding — you must save the date and venue 8–12 months in advance so your guests are able to best prepare. This also means checking the weather conditions, is it normal or high season? This will affect the cost of accommodation and air travel!
What’s the most memorable feedback you’ve ever received from a happy bride and groom?
Couples who express their happiness and satisfaction by writing a personal thank you email after they’ve safely arrived home, attached with our picture together that we had after the event.
