Why did you choose a destination wedding?
We both liked the idea of getting married on a beach at sunset and making our wedding the holiday of a lifetime for us, our family and friends.
Why did you select the destination and venue you did?
We got engaged in Bangkok so for us Thailand was always the only choice.Twinpalms Phuket had a beach club which looked perfect for a wedding reception.
Did you have guests attend, and if so, what was their reaction to you having a destination wedding?
36 guests attended and it was the topic of most conversations for a long time before the wedding.
What is your favourite memory of the day?
Standing with Nick under a beautiful floral arch in the most beautiful surroundings with our closest family and friends.
What was the best thing about having a destination wedding?
Being in Thailand surrounded by the friends and family we love most in the world, it was perfect.
What theme or style did you base your wedding decorations on?
For us the location was always the theme. We tried to keep everything else simple with white flowers, white table linen and white chairs – we didn’t want anything to over shadow the beautiful beach and picture perfect sunset.
How did your wedding coordinator assist you?
Supaluck answered our questions promptly and always gave a helpful informative response. We asked at the last minute if she could arrange a fire dancer for evening entertainment and she got us the best on the island.
Did you honeymoon in the same location?
Yes, we stayed in one of their penthouse suites. It was the perfect way to start our married life.
